The laws of math and logic affirm that if 1+1 equals 2, they cannot, equal 7 at the same time.

Logic affirms that neither can different religions coexist in the end. They cannot all be true, if they all contradict one another. This leaves us only one logical conclusion: either one is true and all the rest are false, or none are true.

But with so many religions in the world, how can we know which one might be true? And wouldn’t the God that gave us logic allow us to know?

After comparison, we find there are only two systems of religions worldwide. Simply put, all but one are “Do” religions. The only exception is a “Done” religion.

“Do” religions teach some type of self-work: leveling karma, performing penance, doing good deeds, receiving baptism or membership, and so forth, in an attempt to gain forgiveness and peace. They all teach that good deeds can outweigh bad ones, or that God is unwilling to condemn us because of sin.

The “DONE” system teaches that Jesus Christ alone paid the price for our sin. Therefore, by His death, burial and resurrection, we can be justified in God’s presence- something we could never earn by our works. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Because justice has been served God can allow us to escape Hell. Now we can have that forgiveness and peace all other religions of the world seek.

Yet all of us have either lied, stolen, been selfish, cruel, sexually impure or committed some sin in our life whether in thought, word or deed. As you ponder your own sins, consider how shameful it will be to stand in the presence of a holy and righteous God who knows all them, even the ones you have forgotten about. All your efforts will be futile on the day of Judgment. You will be condemned because wrong will be seen as wrong, and you will own it, no matter how much good you claim to have mixed in. So what can you do?

There is nothing left to DO; but you must receive what Christ has already DONE. “For as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God…” (John 1:12)

Are you sorry for your sins? Will you admit that your own efforts can never erase them and that you need the Saviour? Do you desire God to change you and make you clean, so that you can live for Him?

Then trust fully and only in what the Lord Jesus Christ has DONE and receive His gift of salvation now!

Here’s how: “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

Remember we cannot earn, by works, what is priceless. If we try to earn forgiveness through our own self-efforts we have thereby rejected the very best that God has already DONE.

Based upon the time it should have taken you to read this about 4,140 people have died. Will you be next? Don’t wait death makes it too late. Remember, God will still be God if you go to Hell.
