you know that it is my prayer for you to become a true believer in Jesus Christ. I am not here to solicit your funds. It makes me sick to see those televangelists and other radio speakers who constantly pressure people to get their money; whether it is by telling them that the Lord will bless them richly if they give or through any other covetous scheme. The Bible warns about this in 2 Peter 2:3,
"And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." I'm not looking for you to join my church.
I would like to give you as much truth as you can handle. My hope is that you can be saved from the damnation of hell and know the joy, peace, and true happiness that comes to knowing the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as I do. If I knew someone's life was in danger I would warn them. If your house was on fire, engulfed in flames, and you were asleep inside unaware of the danger and I couldn't get in to drag you out; I would yell, scream, get upset whatever it took to get your attention in hopes you would awake and jump out the window onto the trampoline I had below. If you were unaware of the danger, it might get you mad that someone was yelling disrupting your sleep. If my yelling of danger was enough to make you investigate the seriousness of the matter for you to realize you were going to burn and got you to jump out the window to safety, then it would have been worth it. You would not appreciate it until you realized the severity of your situation. Perhaps you may not have enough faith to believe that trampoline would work. You might not be able to trust it. You may try to search for another way out, or you may wait in hopes that the fire company will show up and rescue you by putting out the fire, and that, in the end, it will be okay. In a fire there is not much time. Neither is there in you life. James 4:14 says,
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." Just as it would take faith for you to jump out and trust the trampoline to save you, you must trust that Jesus Christ can and will save you. Knowing that many others have jumped to safety should be helpful for you to know that you can trust it. He saved me from the flames of hell and will do the same for you.
